Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 kgs chicken liver pieces(cleaned and washed)


  • 3 nos onion(chopped)


  • 1 piece ginger(crushed)


  • 10 nos garlic cloves(crushed)


  • 5 nos green chillies


  • 2 nos tomato(chopped)


  • 1 sprig curry leaves


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 1 cups coconut oil


  • 2 tsp pepper powder


  • 2 tsp crushed peppercorns


  • 2 tsp cumins(powdered)


  • 2 tsp fenugreek(powdered)


  • 1 tsp chicken masala


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan and saute ginger,garlic cloves,green chillies,onions and tomatoes well.
  • Add chicken masala and turmeric powder to the mix.
  • Now add the cleansed liver pieces,stir gently and add some water.
  • Cook under the lid for about 30 minutes.After that add 2 tsp pepper powder and stir well.Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • Add fenugreek powder and 1 tsp cumin powder and saute.
  • Continue to saute until the water drains and oil become clear,now transfer this to another pan.
  • Add the left over crushed pepper corns,cumin powder and currleaves, Make this to an fry.
  • Chicken Liver is ready to serve
